These days, Girls Who Wear Glasses …. are cool. Eye glasses are no longer just a functional item; they’re a way to express your individuality and personal style. And we’re not just talking about sunglasses, which of course we all love, and of course we all wear whenever outdoors, as they are key to maintaining your eye health.
These days, we are using our glasses as accessories to express our sense of fashion and feeling. The ever-growing availability of frame styles, colors, and shapes, means you can find glasses that suit your face, your mood, and the occasion. We are definitely not limiting ourselves to just one pair ~ just like we have more than one handbag, we want more than one pair of sunnies and glasses.

We recently shopped for new glasses with two popular local influencers ~ Jessica from @houseofhensen and Tomi from @goodtomicha ~ at CEENTA’s SouthPark Optical Shop. We wanted to check out the trending styles and brands at this premier provider, and we wanted to see some style choices made in real life with real people. Glasses They Loved
Jessica, who runs a super-popular Family Fun page, is quite petite, with a small face that can be easily overwhelmed. Her style is quiet and classic. She preferred a traditional style, but did enjoy punching things up a bit with color.
I tend to like things that just kind of blend in. I also have lighter skin and hair, So just finding something that complements that coloring. It’s actually sometimes been tricky for me to find styles that feel like me. I like glasses that blend instead of standing out.

Tomi is a fashion & lifestyle influencer, and is really able to pull off a style statement. Her favorites tended to be big and bold!
I’m someone who loves really bright colors and vivid styles, so knowing that that’s going to change constantly in my wardrobe, I like having some frames that can work with everything and be able to go for like formal events, casual, everything in between.

The Ones They Rejected
It was fun seeing what worked and what did not in our Glasses-Try-On session. As you might expect, the frames that worked for Tomi did not always work for Jessica, and vice versa! And some that we all loved on the display fell short on the face.
As you can tell, even the rejects were fun to try on.
