Anthropologie to open in Atherton Mill in South End.

Here’s another reason to eat lunch at LUNA’s – Anthropologie is opening this fall in the big Atherton Mill building next door.

Anthropologie will be housed in the 8,000-square-foot renovated space across from Ice House in the Atherton Mill shopping center at 2000 South Blvd.  Most of us have shopped the Anthro or its sister store Urban Outfitters at SouthPark Mall, but for many scoop readers, this new location will be another good reason to scoot down to South End instead of South Park.  And apparently this is just the first of things to come.

According to a statement released to the Observer, Lyle Darnall, managing director Edens development, says Anthropologie “….is the first of multiple, soon to be announced steps that will solidify Atherton as the retail focal point of the South End and Dilworth communities for years to come.”

Works for us.

I like Anthropologie for table top at least as much as I do clothing – and wonder if this new space will carry anything from their TERRAIN or BHLDN extensions.  Here are a few snaps of their spring/summer 15 H&G lookbook:

Love Anthro for easy home stylings. My roommate FLICKA loves it too

Outdoor dinners are always better if you can spring for some cute pottery plates.
