When the weather gets this hot, I want something fresh, flavorful and filling. I like a grilled chicken salad as much as the next girl, but you can’t eat that every day. Lucky for me (and for you), our local restaurants have creative and delicious salads that satisfy your taste buds and your appetite. Here are our picks for the top salads at The Lake:
The Ahi Tuna Salad at 131 Main – seared tuna, avocado, greens and more in a house made ginger vinagrette.
The curry chicken salad at Flatiron on Main – the curry spices blend perfectly with the tangy arugula
The Spinach salad at Block Bistro (with grilled Salmon but you can also add Chicken or Shrimp) with bacon, candied pecans and feta cheese.
The Haight salad at Vinyl Pi – roasted peppers, marinated chickpeas, mozzarella cheese and more make up this delish salad from one of our favorite pizza spots.
The Kale caesar with grilled chicken at Alton’s Kitchen & Cocktails – kale, parmesan, chicken – simple but amazing.
