Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The concert starts at 5 p.m., held at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church’s Conference Center in Charlotte’s historic Westside. This annual event also features a pre-concert “Coffee and Dessert” starting at 4 PM. Note: There’s an separate charge for the “Coffee and Dessert”.
