New scarves in stores, and 40 ways to tie them.

Yum, autumn.  Back to the extra hot skinny chai lattes and layering.  My hair stops frizzing and all is well with the world.  I can start wearing scarves again to add a little color and variation to my looks.

I do love a scarf from October through April.  Some people can pull off “the scarf” throughout the summer.  For me at least, the very thought of wrapping myself up in anything May through September brings on a hot flash.

I have to admit, I am often at a loss at how the fashionable ladies know how to wrap these things to look so carelessly, effortlessly chic.  Their scarves don’t look masochistic at all! When I saw this graphic on Pinterest, I immediately pinned & pulled it & thought of sharing it with you.  40 ways to tie a scarf.  A couple of these are just lame, but most are inventive, and will only require a little extra time in front of the mirror.  We asked the shops to send photos of their best new scarves in right now, and put this slideshow below together for your viewing  pleasure.  Now, if you can just do as I say and not as I do….which is get it all tied on….and then take it off and leave it somewhere.
