Toska Spa celebrated 10 years. Here’s what its like to work with the celebrity facialist

by Brianna Crane | October 17, 2026

Toska Spa celebrated its 10-year-anniversary this week, and I was recently lucky enough to try a facial with Toska Usted herself.

Catch up: Toska reclaimed her eponymous spa earlier this year, after briefly selling it to private equity.

  • Charlotte is her home base but she travels all over the world to work with celebrities and royals.

How it works: Her Charlotte spa includes The Facial Bar for mini facials and targeted treatments at a lower price point (starting at $139). Or you can head upstairs to a private room with a sleek fireplace for Toska’s signature facials, advanced treatments or Biologique Rocherche facial ($275+).

  • Each facial is customized to your own needs, so the session starts with a stop at the Skin Instant Lab. This little device scans your face to provide an in-depth skin analysis.
  • This was one of my favorite parts of the experience because it picked up on issues I never found the language to describe myself.
The Facial Bar!

The experience: Toska certainly made me feel like royalty. The word I keep coming back to as I reflect on the experience and the skincare guidance she gave me is precision. Her technique is deeply clinical, and she’s obsessed with giving her clients their best skin.

  • The facial left me glowy, hydrated and sculpted. After it was over, Toska suggested a lineup of products.
  • There’s no pressure to buy anything, but I decided to try a handful of her recommendations.

My results: Her analysis solved issues I’ve had for years—especially texture and persistent dryness/dehydration.

  • I have since seen my regular facialist and she even asked what I’ve been doing to transform the texture of my skin.

Final verdict: I will be back whenever I get off her waitlist. It is pricey but worth it when your current skincare routine isn’t cutting it, or as a treat!

The private rooms are up this sleek staircase.
