Everyone’s favorite party locale, the Duke Mansion, will transform into an underwater dream on Saturday, October 25th, where mermaids will reign and sea kings will dance at their annual Preservation Society party.
Staged in one of Charlotte’s most beautiful venues, this annual costume party is a scoop-girls favorite evening, and certainly one of the more elegant events to attend this season. (Don’t even get us started on the food served at The Duke Mansion, just make sure you don’t skip this part of the night).
Guests will enjoy an evening of said delicious food, cocktails, and music led by the ultimate 80s cover band, @kidsinamericaband, plus a glowing silent disco.
This is a costume party, and you can dress to be at the sea, on the sea, or under the sea, so plan to channel your inner sailor, fisherman, captain, or pirate—or showing up as a dazzling real or mythical sea creature. If costuming is not your thing, we get that, just pick out something festive and cute in resort wear ~ it’s a great time to find end of summer sales items still online.
Tickets are $150 per person ($25 tax-deductible) and include everything for an unforgettable evening of dancing, dining, and surprises.
Grab another couple, or a few friends, and get your tickets today. Then start planning your costumes and be ready to celebrate in this beautiful piece of Charlotte’s history.
Admission is complimentary for Preservation Society members, whose mission is to preserve and care for Duke Mansion, ensuring that this historic Charlotte treasure continues to inspire generations to come. Click here for information about joining the Preservation Society.
