PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club
May 12 – 18
The PGA Championship is back in Charlotte this weekend, and all eyes are on Quail Hollow. From May 15–18, the city will host the world’s best golfers. Expect big crowds, big swings, and even bigger energy as the tournament takes over the Queen City.

Reel Out Charlotte
May 14 – 18, 2025
Reel Out Charlotte, the Queen City’s Annual LGBTQ+ Film Festival, is back for another year. The festival celebrates the beauty of independent cinema, with options to purchase individual screening tickets and all-access passes. Purchase individual tickets to the film screening of your choice for $10 and all access passes to get you access to all festival screenings, including the paid and free shows for $40. Free tickets are first come, first served and must be reserved.

5th Street Live
Thursday, May 15, 5 – 10p
Thursday nights are back in Uptown with 5th Street Live. This free after-work outdoor happy hour will have live bands, rockin’ DJs, and plenty of food and drinks available for purchase. The series is 21+ and will run every Thursday evening from 5pm-10pm, making it the go-to spot to kick off the weekend a little early.

Spend your Thursday evening enjoying live music on the breezeway at The Metropolitan. This week, Ben Gatlin will be performing. The weekly music series is free, family-friendly, and pet-friendly, so bring the whole crew—including your furry friends.

To kick off the PGA Championship, HopFly Brewing is hosting Off the Green—a golf-themed event featuring simulators, specialty cocktails, local golf vendors, and a “Closest to the Pin” contest. Swing your shot at winning the grand prize: two tickets to Sunday at the PGA Championship.

PGA Hope Concert
Friday, May 16, 6 – 11p
Symphony Park is hosting a special concert on Friday, May 16, in honor of the PGA Championship, all for a great cause. The evening features live music from Landslide (a Fleetwood Mac tribute) and Sol Fusion Band, with all proceeds supporting PGA Hope, a program helping veterans through golf. General admission is $20, VIP is $75, and the event runs from 6 to 11 p.m. The show is produced by Southern Entertainment, the team behind CCMF and Lovin’ Life.

This event will unite up to 500 people to make a difference for lung cancer across North Carolina. The event serves as a day of celebration, remembrance, as well as a day to take action and provide hope to those impacted by lung cancer.

Cirque du Biere: One Hit Wonders Aerial Brunch Show

Cirque du Biere is bringing brunch to new heights, literally. Join them for their first-ever brunch show at Monday Night Brewing Garden Co. in South End, where aerialists will perform high-flying acts to their favorite One Hit Wonders. Expect plenty of mimosas, trivia with prizes, and an interactive finale to wrap it all up. High Vibes Tattoo will also be on site doing tiny tattoos for ticket holders throughout the event. A portion of proceeds will support Inked Kittens Club, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and caring for vulnerable kittens in need.
