New & Now Open

Paco’s Tacos & Tequila, Fort Mill

Paco’s Tacos & Tequila Fort Mill location is now open at 1328 Broadcloth Street. The restaurant features authentic Tex-Mex with over 230 tequila varieties.

Ms Didi’s Caribbean Kitchen, Windsor Park

Food truck turned brick-and-mortar, Didi’s kitchen kicked off opening day serving up authentic Haitian cuisine with a line that wrapped around the building.

Charlotte Restaurants & Eateries Coming Soon

Leluia Hall, Dilworth – May 6

After much anticipation, the wait for Leluia Hall is finally over… with a tentative opening set for the week of May 6, we are eagerly awaiting the open doors of this new culinary experience.

Sora, Myers Park – May

Sora’s French and Asian concepts from the Baku/Yama group plans to open early May, combining the precision and technique of Japanese cuisine with the flavor and presentation of French culinary tradition.

Seemingly Overzealous, Dilworth – Late May

Seemingly Overzealous is bringing their delicious dairy and gluten-free ice cream to Dilworth this May, at 224 East Blvd, making this their 3rd location in the QC.

Very Much on Our Radar, But Not Quite Open Yet:

Tsaocaa, Plaza Midwood – Late May

With handcrafted teas made with natural ingredients, plus Korean fried chicken, egg waffles, and more, Tsaocaa makes for the perfect spot to grab a snack and a sweet sip. In the meantime, you can check out their new location in Huntersville located at 9715 Sam Furr Rd D.

Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails, Park Rd – June

Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails is expanding its California roots to none other than the QC this summer and we could not be more excited. Rebranding as “Mother’s Comfort Food & Cocktails”, you will find this eatery serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner, (and obviously cocktails), coming to 4101 Park Road.

Nickyo’s Rodeo, South End – Late Spring / Early Summer

Joining the Charlotte Honky Tonk scene is Nickyo’s rodeo, a bar bringing together karaoke, live music, and a courtyard to enjoy more live music alongside a rotation of food trucks.

Closed or Closing 

  • Lebowski’s Dilworth permanently closed. A Nashville-based Taco spot, Lady Bird Taco, is expected to take its place.

Foodie Events & News To Know

New Spring & Summer Menu at Fahrenheit

Seasonal menu items are joining the Fahrenheit menu this spring/summer, with some yummy menu highlights like burrata prosciutto salad, pancetta spring pea fettuccine, and peach croissant milk bread. Spend a meal outside enjoying the skyline views while tasting some of these new springy bites.

Napa’s new menu is everything we didn’t know we needed, from bold bites to cozy classics with a twist… there is something delicious for everyone. We’ve got our eyes on the shrimp capellini entree and the chamomile & lavender crème brûlée (our mouths are watering at this combo) with seasonal berries for dessert.

Waverly Spring Wine Walk

Thursday, May 1

Celebrate the Spring season with wine, shopping, exclusive specials, discounts, and swag from participating merchants at this year’s Waverly Wine Walk. Tickets start at $20 and all ticket sales benefit the Go Jen Go Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing critical financial assistance to local individuals and families in the Greater Charlotte area who are battling breast cancer. 

The Taste of Fort Mill

Puerta’s Cinco De Mayo Patio Party

Napa is throwing a Don Julio dinner party this Cinco de Mayo at Napa on Providence. Five courses, perfectly paired pours, and zero plastic margarita glasses in sight. Seats are $125pp and they are going fast—just like the tequila will. Book your Cinco De Mayo night out now.

Napa said it best… Mom deserves more than just a card! Enjoy Mother’s Day at Napa with a three-course prix fixe menu offered at brunch ($40) or dinner ($55). Expect bubbles, bites, and a memorable day celebrating Mom.

This May 14th, you can enjoy amazing food and drinks while making a difference for local animals. Plates for Paws is a delicious way to support the Humane Society of Charlotte, helping animals in need find loving homes. This year, local restaurants, cafes, bars, and breweries are once again opening their hearts (and paws!) to donate a portion of their sales to give pets a second chance. Dine at a participating restaurant on May 14, and a portion of your bill will be donated to HSC.
