Renata Gasparian, who has been selling her beautiful Brazilian fashions online and privately for several years, is opening a brick & mortar boutique at the Twin Oaks shops on East Blvd., calling her new shop “Bohemian Glamour, mixed with my Brazilian Soul, and that touch of Southern Charm, our new “Living Room.” We can’t wait!

A new childrens’ boutique has opened in NODA, focusing on kids 6 and under. JAMES & JOY celebrated its Grand Opening on Friday, 3/28. Find it at 715 E 36th St #113, open Wed-Thu: 10 AM – 5 PM, Fri-Sat: 10 AM – 6 PM, Sun: 11 AM – 4 PM.

House of NOMAD storefront is closing, as partners and owners Berkely and Kelley plan to focus their energies on the design, wallpaper, and textiles businesses.

The Charlotte Collective on West Blvd, a retail collective of CLT small businesses, announced on IG that it was closing March 30th.

FreeCoat Myers Park, nail salon, closed in mid-March.

KK Bloom on Selwyn Ave. is hosting an in-store Tiny Tattoos Event with Venus Tattoo Studio on Friday, April 4th from 12-5PM.

Sara Campbell, also on Selwyn at Colony, is hosting a shop & support for Winghaven with flower fave The Rooted Nest. You will be able to shop the store with a percent going to Winghaven, and grab & go with a beautiful arrangement from Lauren at TRN.

The Phillips Place Spring Market & Shopping Stroll Is April 12, 2025. Waverly Spring Wine Walk – Thursday, May 1, 5:30-8:30pm. Celebrate the season with wine, shopping, and exclusive specials, discounts and swag from participating Waverly merchants. All ticket sales will benefit the Go Jen Go Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing critical financial assistance to local individuals and families in the Greater Charlotte, NC area who are battling breast cancer. They provide aid during all phases of the cancer journey including diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. TICKET ($20 or $30) INCLUDES: A swag bag and a variety of wine pours and specials at each of the boutiques.
