THURSDAY

Movies in the Park
Veterans Park, Huntersville | 7 p.m.

Kick off the weekend with a family-friendly movie night. Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse will be on the big screen this week.

Candle Making + Pom Pom Earrings Workshop
Bells Box, Cornelius | 6:30 p.m.

Tap into your creative side by learning how to make two crafts: a soy candle with your choice of scent, and a pair of pom-pom statement earrings. $40 per participant.

FRIDAY

Friday Night Wine Tasting
The Hidden Bin, Mooresville | 6 p.m.

Book Signing with Author Meredith Brown

Meet author Meredith Brown, who writes under the pen name C. Marshall Turner, for a signing of her novel, A Cajun Journey.

Earth Day Fair

Jazz Concert Series

Huntersville’s Jazz Concert Series is back this weekend with more performances by NC and national bands including Johnny Conga & His Tropical Jazz Project, Mike Zinna Trio, Noel Freidline Quartet, and The Lovell Bradford Group ft. Emily Braden.

Spring Fling 2019
Carbonation, Cornelius | 2 – 7 p.m.

Carbonation’s inaugural Spring Fling will feature local and national beer brands, live music by Jacob Triplet, Breeze Cable and The Vel-Crows and food by 2LiveCue BBQ.

Easter Egg Hunt
Historic Latta Plantation, Huntersville | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Grab your basket! Latta Plantation’s annual Easter egg hunt offers a fun challenge for kids with hunts by age groups: 1 – 3 year, 4 – 6 years and 7 – 10 years. Eggs contain surprises and a select hold few free family memberships, summer camp discounts, goodie-filled baskets and more. The day also includes visits with the Easter bunny, story time and games.

Earth Day Celebration
On Tap, Mooresville | 6 – 9 p.m.

On Tap will celebrate Earth Day with two of NC’s eco-friendly breweries: Sierra Nevada Brewing and Birdsong Brewing Co. Expect spring brews, raffle giveaways and a pop-up plant sale with Brawley Garden Center .
