Dang. It’s here. B-T-S. Such a conflicted time. Yes, you cannot wait to get them off their electronics and out of the house. But then, what about sleeping in? Last minute lunches together? Late afternoon trips to the pool? Netflix binging together when it rains, every single day, right at late afternoon pool time? Falling asleep on the sofa while you wait for them to miss curfew by 15 minutes and pray you don’t have to drive anywhere cause you had two glasses of wine? What about all that summer fun?
No matter what they say, they are almost always ready for the school routines and being with friends again after summer’s happy disruption. For sure, one of the best parts about B-T-S is getting some cute new outfits to wear. Everything’s all new and exciting at least until mid-October, when we’re all just counting the days ’til Christmas vacation.
