When we published our 2016 summer shorts update, even we were taken aback by the amount of leg you’ll need to display in many of this season’s shorts styles in Charlotte. So we vowed to take up the challenge of finding cute longer shorts for you to shop this summer. It wasn’t easy. We found a few pair here in the QC and several more online.

Even the GO TO for tailored 7″ and 9″ inseam shorts, JCREW, is showing fewer options this year than in the past. The good news is that TARGET has knocked off some of their styles for $19.99. Although my reco when buying longer shorts that work well for you is…buy the ones that will last cuz you will be forever in finding the next pair.

For some really cute and unique long shorts, we had to venture online to FarFetch and a few other shops and spend a lot more moola. Fortunately, many of these styles are or will be on sale by the time you take a look!
