A new denim boutique has been a long time coming in the Queen City. Good news, this Friday BLUE HEM will open its doors to the public with designer brands like Raleigh, Henry & Belle, Baldwin, Fidelity, Strom and more for both men and women. The new South End boutique celebrates their grand opening at 1750 Camden Road Friday from 5pm until 8pm with music, drinks and the latest denim styles. The shop started as a pop-up in Latta Arcade in December and is owned by sisters Vanesa Shreve and Suzy McIntosh. This boutique is guaranteed to become a South End staple.

Edens, the developer who is 1) bringing Park Road Shopping center out of the late 80s and 2) committed to a major update of Atherton Mill, recently announced that they will be opening a 5600 square foot FREE PEOPLE store this autumn in Atherton Mill, to join forces with Anthro and Luna’s to make that an even more perfect place for lunch with the girls and lazy weekends. Stay tuned.
