Samoas. Thin Mints. DoSiDos. Sweeter words were never spoken. If you haven’t already, you will soon see the girls with their boxes around town, and at your door if you are a lucky neighbor. Sales kicked off this past Saturday 2/14 (of course!) and will continue through March 8th. The 2015 cookie line-up includes old faves plus two new flavors:
NEW! Rah Rah Raisins: Filled with plump raisins and Greek yogurt-flavored chunks ($4).
NEW! Toffee-tastic: Gluten-free, rich buttery is packed with golden toffee bits ($5).
Thin Mints: Round, mint-flavored cookie with a chocolate coating ($4).
Samoas: Caramel and toasted coconut-covered cookie ($4).
Tagalongs: Combines a layer of peanut butter with a rich chocolate coating ($4).
Do-si-dos: Sandwich cookie with crisp, crunch oatmeal on the outside and creamy peanut butter inside ($4).
Trefoils: Shortbread cookie in the shape of the iconic trefoil ($4).
Savannah Smiles: Zesty, lemon-flavored cookie dusted with powdered sugar ($4).
Best news ever? This year, the Girl Scout Cookie Movement has GONE DIGITAL. Yes, indeed. You can now search with your zip for a calendar of nearby cookie sell spots. You can even install the Cookie Finder app on your iPhone (android available too).
It’s easy to find out where you’ll find our local scouts from CLT Girl Scouts Council, the Hornets’ Nest [of course!]. So as soon as snowmaggedon leaves, you can set out on the hunt.
