Charlotte Craft Beer Week is back this month to celebrate the Queen City’s beer culture and the many people who contribute to our local craft beer scene.
What is Charlotte Craft Beer Week?
CRAFT BEER WEEK is an annual week-long event hosted by the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA), which partners with our local breweries to celebrate the Queen City’s diverse beer culture and talented brewers.
For one week, from Oct. 17 – 26, 2025, the QC will show up and celebrate the people behind the taps. Charlotte Craft Beer Week will feature over 100 special events and offers at participating breweries and offers you several ways to join in and show your support.
It all starts with your Craft Beer Passport
What is the Charlotte Craft Beer Passport? It’s your way to earn free stuff doing something you love – supporting Charlotte’s craft brewers.
Click here to get your personal Craft Beer Week Passport, where you can find all of the many Craft Beer Week events and happenings and earn points by checking in to participating breweries and events. It’s a FREE mobile passport with no app required. As you celebrate Charlotte’s craft beer community one sip at a time, you’ll earn prizes, including branded merchandise and brewery items.

How It Works
STEP 1
Get Your Free Pass HERE. This free mobile passport is a collection of local breweries, events and special offers celebrating Craft Beer Week.
STEP 2
Receive Text & Email. Your passport will be delivered to your phone via text and email. There is no app to download. Your pass can be saved to your phone’s home screen for easy one-tap access.
STEP 3
Redeem During Beer Week. When visiting participating businesses and events Oct. 17-26, simply turn on your location services to check-in, earn points and redeem prizes.
What are the Events & Offers in the 2025 Craft Beer Week?
There will be three types of exclusive offers and special events available during Craft Beer Week:

- Special offers like drink releases and beer and food pairings.
- Themed events such as fall celebrations and brewery tours.

- Neighborhood brewery crawls in NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Lower South End, Belmont/North End, South End
- Cosmic Ballet Returns – A Toast to Dan at Wooden Robot
- Raise a glass of Cosmic Ballet to one of Charlotte’s most beloved brewers, Dan Wade. Proceeds benefit the Dan Wade Memorial Scholarship
- Brewery Bazaar at HopFly – Swap your gently used brewery items for goodies
- Bad Review Night at Free Range NoDa – Local breweries read bad reviews for their establishment
- Home Brew Competition Awards Party at Brewers at 4001 Yancey – Cheer on the participants in the first-ever Charlotte Craft Beer Week Home Brew Competition
