Thursday, September 18, 5 – 9p
SouthPark After 5 is back from September 4th through October 9th, 2025 bringing free live music, food trucks and drinks, and hands-on art experiences weekly to Symphony Park.This week, Dustin Yager and Bourbon Sons will take the stage, along with free sunflowers to the first 500 attendees. Grab your lawn chair or picnic blanket and come hang out for a night of music and good vibes

Dazzle the Dot Gala

Opening of Central Impact: Skateboarding’s Art and Influence – FREE museum admission

Featuring rare boards, original artwork, and archival media from the 1980s to today, this exhibition highlights the evolution of skate culture both locally and globally. Works from artists like Sean Cliver, Marc McKee, and Andy Jenkins appear alongside collections from multiple archivists, tracing how graphics and culture have shaped generations. This exhibition was organized by Deckaid, a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) and Black Sheep Skate Shop, and The Mint Museum. Proceeds from this exhibition support the Charlotte Skate Foundation.
