Let’s Meat KBBQ, South End
After a fire last year caused the Korean BBQ restaurant to temporarily close its doors, Let’s Meat has officially reopened. Current temporary hours: Tuesday-Thursday: 5PM-11PM, Friday & Saturday: 5PM -12AM, Sunday: 5PM-11PM.
BAM! Snoballs
This New Orleans-style snoball shop had its grand opening on March 22nd at Phillip O. Berry Gymnasium, with pop-ups planned at University, NoDa, Uptown, Camp North End and more. The mobile unit features snoballs – shaved / soft ice drizzled with simple syrups and other toppings and stuffed with your choice of ice creams or cheesecake.
Blinders Sports Lounge, South End
Charlotte’s newest Sports Lounge has opened in South End, offering shareables, craft cocktails, and plenty of screens to maximize your sports watching.
La Lima Sangucheria, South End
La Lima, brought to us by owners of fan faves YUNTA and Viva Chicken, has opened and is bringing Peruvian sandwiches and other international fusion flavors to South End You can find them at the former Carrabbas space at 151 Park Ave.
Mazi, South End
Now open in South End, Mazi’s menu features small plates and fine spirits, alongside an elevated dining experience that celebrates the sense of unity and camaraderie that comes from dining out and enjoying food and drinks together.
Clark’s Snack Bar, Plaza Midwood
Opened on March 31, announced on IG by the owner and founder of The Good Wurst, which recently closed. Same general vibe.

Pure Pizza has reopened with a creatively fresh menu alongside your old favorites. Come by for dine-in, grab takeout, or get it delivered during their new hours: Sunday to Thursday: 4-9 pm, Friday & Saturday: till 10 pm.
Kaya Gastrolounge, Belmont

What was once The Bottle Tree, has now evolved into Kaya Gastrolounge, which features a modern, “oungy vibe with two bars (inside & out). The menu is tapas-style with elevated entrees like paella, truffle-potato ribeye, and craft cocktails. Plus, enjoy live music on the patio with more events coming soon.
Yassou Greek, Myers Park
Yassou Greek has opened and is serving authentic Greek dishes to the Charlotte area, you can find them located in the former Volo space in Myers Park.
Luisa’s Brick Oven Pizzeria, Myers Park
Luisa’s Pizzeria is serving up the same great pizza we all know and love, just under new ownership. Enjoy many of their menu classics or Create Your Own Pizza to see why this local pizzeria has earned a name for itself.
Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar, South Park

Tommy Bahama’s first Marlin Bar in North Carolina has officially opened in South Park. You can find the tropical eatery in the West Plaza area of SouthPark Mall, offering patio seating, signature island-inspired bites, craft cocktails, and a selection of iconic apparel.
Downstairs Ice Cream, Gastonia

Homemade, small-batch ice cream is being made and scooped Thursday through Saturday in historic downtown Gastonia. With unique flavors ranging from Girl Scout Cookie Lemonade to Pot o’ Gold cereal milk (per their secret menu), Downstairs Ice Cream has us craving some scoop.

Paco’s Tacos & Tequila is expanding to Fort Mill with a new location coming soon to 1328 Broadcloth Street. The restaurant will feature the same authentic Tex-Mex with over 230 tequila varieties.
Tsaocaa, Plaza Midwood – End of April
With handcrafted teas known made with natural ingredients, plus Korean fried chicken, egg waffles, and more, Tsaocca makes for the perfect spot to grab a snack and a sweet sip. In the mean time, you can check out their new location in Huntersville located at 9715 Sam Furr Rd D.
Sorellina Pasta, Plaza Midwood – End of April

Coming early April, we hope – our fingers are very crossed, to the former Bonterra spot in Dilworth. Looks like inspections are happening, finishing touches are being done, and the menu is being finalized. Keep your eyes peeled for the opening date!
Fenwick’s, Eastover – A new owner has announced the restaurant will re-open. Stay tuned!
