What finds will you bring home this summer? We have a wish-list that keeps growing with no plans of calling off the search. Second chances are where it’s at.
In the name of second chances, here are our favorite Vintage Stores around Charlotte:

CONCORD holds The Depot at Gibson Mill just close enough to feel as if we’ve gotten away from it all. Spend the day roaming the aisles of treasure. We love the hunt. Finish with a bite at the Gibson Mill Market food hall.

Slate Interiors in WESLEY HEIGHTS offers the upper end of vintage (and also new) in the QC, mostly furniture and art, with many vendors offering ever-changing content. Shop often for the best finds.

Hong Kong Vintage for new-to-you things in PLAZA MIDWOOD.

Bring your Barbie girl (or your any girl) to Sleepy Poet. In the heart of Charlotte, on south SOUTH BLVD, a day here means more time to spend combing the lanes of all things vintage-fancy.

Hamilton Stuart on Park Rd near MONTFORD knows all things fine. Mostly antiques, fine consignment and estate sales, beautiful items for your home.

We often meet our friends wandering South End Exchange found in, of course SOUTH END. Coffee dates that are productive. Try it.

Old News Vintage in NODA for a refresh of all things sporty and for the guys. N. Davidson will always be the coolest.

Vintage clothes that don’t suck? We believe them. NODA’s Rat’s Nest Vintage is where we’re headed for concert garb. Brown cowboy boots are on our wish-list.

The Stash Pad on Monroe Rd. (near Lupie’s right past ELIZABETH ) is where all things pre-loved become ours. Selection for the ages.

Scoop gals love Moxie Mercantile with 3 locations to find vintage mixed within the new. Gifting made easy. One for them. A few things for us…

East 8th Vintage in ELIZABETH has a bit of everything…including vinyl.
VINTAGE MARKET CHARLOTTE POP UPS ~ Hosted by premium vintage sportswear company Locker Room, the Charlotte Vintage Markets pop-up periodically around town – track their next event on their IG here. Next up is SUNDAY, June 9, 11am to 8pm at Optimist Hall where you’ll find 25 Vendors selling vintage & secondhand items.

GW: A Goodwill Boutique a more stylized, fashion-minded version of local GOODWILL stores, “tailored to those who are trendy, fashionable and young at heart, with a store design and layout resembling that of specialty stores of the moment with color blocking, style stories and pairings, and a variety of home décor items.” While you are less likely to find a hidden gem steal here, since items have already been curated for their gem-worthiness, you will find a much more consistent assortment of brand names and mid-end designers.
If you prefer to dig, Goodwill has 36 retail locations in the Charlotte metro area, so there is guaranteed to be one near you. Not sure which location is closest to you? Use their Store Locator tool to find your nearest Goodwill store.
Find local estate sales on Hidden Treasures on Facebook if you are really into the hunt. You may have to dig more than at some of our other picks, but you may also find some real gems just ready for new love.

Looking for a much bigger, less curated list? Here’s one from Charlotte on the Cheap with dozens of options for used, thrift, consignment and vintage.
PLEASE NOTE: All photos are from the stores’ instagram or FB pages found at the links. Availability of items in the photos is definitely not guaranteed, most likely have sold. Please call or message the store about current availability. Or stop by and see what’s new.
SEND US THE SCOOP!: If you have a favorite Flea Market or Vintage / Consignment store in the area that we have not included, please send us that info by filling out this form here. We love hearing your favorites! Thanks!
