That’s the motto of GLAMPING UNPLUGGED, a a Camping-Glamping site with rentals in both Deep Gap NC & Fleetwood NC, outside of Boone.
What You’ll Find:
An eco-friendly, minimal footprint lifestyle in one of their five Geodesic Dome or their “Tiny AF” (A-frame for two).
Privacy. There are only only three primitive camping sites on the 8-12 acre campgrounds
Nature. You’re surrounded by it, along 1/4 mile of state stocked trout stream. One of the domes literally juts out over the water.
King, Queen and/or Bunk Beds (sleep 4-5) with Linens, Pillows, Comforters and Towels
Insulated tents with tent stoves to keep you warm enough, even when it is snowing outside
Fire Pit and/or Deck Chimney (PyroTower) + outdoor seating, including hammock(s)
Charcoal grill, well-insulated cooler & compostable bowls, cutlery, cups & board games
One battery power pack to recharge cells, lighting and personal fan(s)
Camping Towelettes (shower wipes) are provided to deodorize and clean your body or use fresh creek water to rinse yourself clean (no soaps allowed!) & a private port-o-john toilet.
What You Won’t Find
Wifi.
Indoor Plumbing (although there is a private portable toilet for you). It may be glamorous but it is still camping 🙂
Running Water. See above and BYO water for tooth brushing, cooking, rinsing off etc.
Soap. No soap in the streams AT ALL.
