Taylor Reese of @AlwaysTheHost Plans a July 4th Party for Us

If the sight of red, white, and blue together makes you “want a hot dog real bad”, makes you want to fire up the grill and cook said hot dogs, watch fireworks on a tailgate, or relax by the pool in a star-spangled bikini, this is the entertaining post for you.

I can honestly say, over the years, I’ve celebrated the 4th of July in all of the aforementioned ways. Lately, my favorite way to celebrate is with dear family and friends with good food and a pretty table we can all gather around. If you don’t know me from previous entertaining articles, I’m Taylor Reese of Always the Host and I’m here to give you the Scoop on planning a fabulous July 4th-themed tablescape.

Unlike previous holidays where I’ve discussed ways to get the most out of your own existing dinnerware and decor, this is one holiday I want you to embrace the theme to the fullest R,W & B extent. There are easy & chic ways to do it like monogram flag napkins from Etsy or beaded patriotic napkin rings from Shop Taylor Reese. Why spend on new things to go all out? It’s simple: there are three holidays that embrace a red, white, and blue palette with the Americana theme ~ three occasions over the summer that allow you to keep your pieces out and use them for the entire season. I personally leave my buntings on my front porch from Memorial Day to Labor Day and don’t think twice about it. So, if you’re really eyeing the lobster platter or Golden Rabbit serve ware below, go ahead and go for it. You’ll be piling those hot dogs a mile high every other weekend. Want to take it up a notch? Be sure to stock up on mini flags, poppers, bomb pops, and cracker jacks. These timeless snacks and favors are nostalgic and fun for adults and kids!
