Not all art is found within museum walls. Venture outside to find vibrant works of art blended into historic buildings, new construction and neighborhood landmarks with our updated guide to Charlotte’s murals.  

Use the addresses provided to find each artwork or head to www.artwalksclt.com to go on a self-guided art walk, where they provide you with the specific location, artist info, story, and key art terms. 

Another great resource for finding murals around the city is the Talking Walls Mural Festival. While this year’s event was held in October, you can head to www.talkingwallscharlotte.com anytime to find new work and artists featured in this year’s and prior years’ Talking Walls celebration. Either way, get outside and enjoy murals all over the city for a change in scenery.
