Temperatures are high but so are our spirits as we continue to celebrate the return of a ‘normal’ summer and all of the events and celebrations that go with it. Charlotte staple, Earl’s Grocery, will sadly be closing its doors for good this month – so make one last visit to this iconic store if you can. The kitchen will close on July 17 with the grocery closing on July 24.

Reasons to Be Cheerful at SoCo Gallery
On Exhibit until Saturday, August 7
Curated by Charlotte-based artist, Holly Keough, the exhibition includes recent paintings, mixed media and performances by eleven Goodyear Arts artists. The exhibition will be on-display at SoCo Gallery.

Charlotte Area Farm Crawl
Now through August 31
Grab a passport and start exploring Charlotte area farms including Good Karma Ranch, McLawlands Farm, Dallas Lavender Lane and Midland Farm. Visitors who get their passport stamped at all four locations will be entered into a raffle for gifts from each farm.

Charlotte’s premier circus troupe will perform this innovative, new work of acrobatics and spoken word. Tickets are now available for this family-friendly show.

Join artist Janet Loren Hill for a sewing circle and contribute to a group parachute that will be activated during a future Open Studio event. Basic sewing skills are helpful but not required.
