Acoustic music series live on the patio by the greenway, tons of different bands coming, full deets on their facebook page here. Free parking. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and takeout from one of the restaurants at Metropolitan. No outside food or beverages are permitted.

LIVE outdoor concerts from the Charlotte Symphony, featuring works by Brahms, Mozart, Scott Joplin and more. Food and drink will be available for purchase from businesses in Meridian Place near the Embrace sculpture:  Edge City Brewery, Hawthorne’s Pizza, and Wingstop. Guests may bring a chair or pack a picnic, but no outside alcohol permitted on the premises.

Party in the Park

Spend the last Sunday of each month in the park at Mint Museum Randolph. Enjoy free admission to the museum, food trucks, and live music and a cash bar on the front terrace (weather permitting). Bring a blanket to sit on, a book to read, or your favorite four-legged companion for an afternoon of fun.

Blakeney Summer Concert Series

Family-friendly concerts will take place every Saturday through September 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Music fans of all ages can relax on the Blakeney Plaza while listening to local favorites. There will also be an opportunity to give back, as select performances feature a non-profit partnership. Shop, dine and unwind before settling in for live music. Lawn chairs, blankets and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds. Coolers, glass containers and outside alcohol are prohibited. Weather permitting. Schedule subject to change. Stonecrest Summer Concert Series

Friday evenings, enjoy music by the fountain where you can relax and listen to a variety of different musicians. Then on Saturdays, visit The Plaza Corner and sit and relax on the patio of True Crafted Pizza or Civetta Italian Kitchen & Bar. Live music takes place throughout the year at a one-of-a-kind outdoor venue in the middle of the world’s largest man-made whitewater river.   • Concerts will be held from 6:00 PM-10:00 PM.  DJ Tim Brown will kick things off at 6:00 PM with the headliner taking that stage at 7:00 PM.
  • This year’s food truck vendors include Abbott’s Frozen Custard, Baltimore Crab Cake Co, Cousins Maine Lobster, Hog N Dog Too, Ken’s Famous Italian Ice, KO Food Truck, Maki Taco, Pelicans, Pizza for Pyros, Roman’s All-Star Cafe, Sal’s Roadside Eatery, That Won Truck and Wilbur’s Last Ride.

Thursday night Summer Concert Series with a variety of bands. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnics for their enjoyment. Concerts are free for Greenway members; daily visitor fees apply for non-members ($6/adult and $4 ages 5-12). Special event parking is $5 per car, with special event parking passes available for purchase at $35. Beer, wine and soda will be available for purchase.  Various food for purchase options will vary from week to week. No glass or outside alcohol allowed. Food trucks vary by date. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome to attend!

Discover Fun in Kannapolis returns this summer with an incredible lineup of great concerts, movies, and of course, fireworks.  Events will be held from May to August. All events are free to the public.
