At the Jerald Melberg Gallery, celebrate the opening of Susan Grossman’s exhibit, Urban Stories, which showcases new drawings on paper in charcoal and pastel. The evening also features a performance by Principal Cellist for the Charlotte Symphony Alan Black. Come back on Saturday for a coffee and conversation lecture with the artist at 11 a.m.
