In Order of Opening Day, the Fall Corn Mazes in CLT

Football season has begun and pumpkin spice lattes are back. Fall is right around the corner and we’re gearing up for corn mazes, apple picking and all of our favorite Fall activities. These farms near the Charlotte area offer more than just the best corn mazes around–many of them have hayrides, pumpkin picking, and more for the whole family. Get ready to get lost.

“Get Lost” Corn Maze

Opening: Opening date September 21
Saturdays & Sundays unless appointment is made

This being its 13th season, the maze has over 4 miles of paths on 10 acres of land. Enjoy family fun and games all day long like their Gigantic Jumpy Pillow, Zorb Ball, and Veggie Vault Sling Shot.

Ticket Prices:
Single Admission Price: $9 (children 3 and under FREE)

Group Rates: $7.50 per person (available for groups of 20+)


Shelby Corn Maze

Opening: Opening date September 21
Fridays 4 – 10pm | Saturdays 10am-10-pm | Sundays 2-8pm
Haunted Maze: After dark Fridays & Saturdays in October
Open weekdays to large groups by reservation only

Fall fun includes 8-acre Corn MazePumpkin Patch and 40+ attractions. Plus, visit the Haunted Maze weekends in October! Family entertainment, outdoor fun and plenty to eat. Just a short country drive from Charlotte.

Hall Family Farm

Opening: September 27
*Only open weekends

This maze covers 5 acres of land and has over 2 miles of interconnecting pathways. Other fun activities at this farm include hayrides, pumpkin picking, and their cute mini mazes. If the daytime maze isn’t enough of a challenge, go back and night. Don’t forget your flashlight.

Corn Maze only Ages 3 and up: $8 + tax
Ages 2 and under: FREE
Combo Ticket (Corn Maze and Hayride–save 10% vs buying them separately)

Country Days Corn Maze

Opening: September 27
Closing: November 3
*Only open weekends unless an appointment is made

This year’s corn maze is themed “Country Days Corn Maze Says Kick Cancer” and the farm supports those who are fighting, have won, and remember those who have lost the battle. This farm offers two different levels of corn mazes. The “Little Ears Maze” is open to children ages 10 and under, allowing you to enjoy the maze experience with your little ones. It is easy to navigate and exit if needed. The “Big Ears Maze” is full of confusing fun for older kids and adults. They have lots of great food and farm games too.

Maze: $8.00 (ages 4 and up)
Little Ears Maze: $5.00 – Open Daytime Only
Children 3 & Under FREE To Both Mazes
Most Farm Activities: $1.00 each


Rural Hill

Opening: Aiming to open on September 28
Fridays – Sundays unless appointment is made

One of the largest corn mazes in the Southeast, Rural Hill has over 2 miles of interconnecting paths in their maze. Don’t forget to take a hayride around the farm, play a round of corn-hole, play in their mini-mazes, hike some gorgeous trails, and pick a pumpkin while you’re there.

Day maze ages 13 and up: $11
Day maze ages 5 – 12: $8
Night maze ages 13 and up: $16

Regal Corn Maze

Opening: September 28
*Only open on weekends

Regal Corn Maze invites you to “get lost and have fun.” Experience the fun this farm has to offer all day long like their giant slingshot, corn cannon, hay tunnel, cow train, and more.

Age 4 and Younger: FREE


Wise Acres

Opening: Farm opens September 20, Corn Maze TBD, check website for updates
Closing: November 3

*Only open on weekends

Located in Indian Trail, Wise Acres is new to our list of corn mazes this year. While just a visit to the farm is free, they offer fun activities like wagon rides, barrel train, corn pit, pumpkins and of course the maze. They are currently waiting to charge based on the quality of this year’s maze. Leave your pups at home if visiting this farm.

Aw Shucks! Farms

Opening: Mid September
Closing: Mid November

Fridays – Sundays unless appointment is made

Aw Shucks! Farms has something to offer anyone of any age. The maze is kid-friendly for little ones but if you’re older and want a good scare, survive their frightening haunted trail called The 13th Acre opening September 27. General admission includes the corn maze, hayrides, animal barn and more.

Ticket Prices:
Age 3 and under: FREE
Age 4-12: $8 plus tax for General Admission
Age 13 and up: $10 plus tax for General Admission
