Local makers create this boutique shopping experience complete with food and drink specials from hotspots at the Met. Expect plants from The Cactus Club, straw bags from Golden Reeds, baked goods from Wentworth & Fenn, accessories by Janet Gwen and jewelry from Bajari Designs, The Alley Way Market and Cotton & Clay.

24 Hours of Booty
July 26 – 27 | Myers Park

The 18th annual 24-hour fundraiser for Levine Cancer Institute, Levine Children’s Hospital, The LIVESTRONG Foundation and Queens University of Charlotte returns this weekend. Cheer on the more than 1,200 riders and 200 walkers as they make their way through the three-mile “Booty Loop”.

Summer Wine Warehouse Event
July 25 – 27 | 2220 Hawkins St.

PRP Wine Charlotte is bringing out their favorites for their summer warehouse event. Stop by to try a taste of their selection and find your own new favorite.


July Beer Dinner
The Suffolk Punch | 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Suffolk Punch’s next beer dinner includes a five-course menu prepared and presented by Executive Chef Eric Litaker and each served with a Suffolk Punch Brewing beer. $65 per person.

All American Cocktail Party
Sullivan’s Steakhouse (Charlotte) | 7 – 9 p.m.

Sullivan’s All-American Cocktail Pairing Dinner features four chef-inspired courses paired with Sullivan’s signature cocktails. $65 per guest.

Stimulus: Origins
McColl Center for Art + Innovation | 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Visiting curator Marisa J Pascucci will guide the conversation between McColl Center artist-in-residence Chris Clamp, alumni artists-in-residence de’Angelo Dia, painter and ceramicist Kristen van Diggelen Sloan, and painter John Seibels Walker.

The first of three pop-up bookstores this summer at Lenny Boy is this Thursday. Purchase a book from their unique selection of titles while enjoying beer or kombucha.


Trentadue Wine Dinner

Chef Adam Spears will prepare w five-course dinner paired with five Trentadue Winery presented by Matt Cooper. $75+ per person.

Johnny Fly Co. Presents: Vol. 3

Summer Cocktail Class

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and the Humane Society of Charlotte team up for an afternoon of live music, adoptable pets, raffles and giveaways, caricatures of your pets and more. $1 from each beer and frozen drink benefits the Humane Society.

Pinhouse Grand Opening Party
2306 Central Avenue | 10 a.m. – 12 a.m.

Make plans to help Pinhouse celebrate its grand opening in Plaza Midwood. The two-story, Great Gatsby-esque taproom boasts 72 self-serve taps, a second story patio with a park view and Duckpin Bowling. The grand opening celebration will include DuckPin and corn hole tournaments, a live performance by Canaan Cox, raffle prizes, food trucks and more.

Margarita Crawl Charlotte

Between a tiki-drink throwdown and the “walk the plank” dunk tank, the Scallywag Social’s got all the makings of a summer celebration. Red Clay 4th Birthday Bash

Help Red Clay celebrate its fourth anniversary with special cider releases, live music and the grand opening of their kitchen. FUD on the MUV is moving in and will be onsite daily.

Can Release Pool Party

Town Brewing’s patio will get a tropical makeover just in time for the release of two brand new beers: Cruise to Nowhere, a Sour Ale fermented with Mango, Guava, Passion Fruit, Blood Orange and Hibiscus and the TDH Hazy IPA hopped with Sabro, El Dorado, Citra, Comet, Mosaic and Hull Melon hops. Activities include music by DJ Karz, a hula hoop contest, a tropical shirt competition, live music and more.

Tomato Day
Charlotte Regional Farmers Market | 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Celebrate the unofficial fruit of summer as vendors pass out free tomato recipes and showcase their selection of cherry, grape, beefsteaks and heirloom tomatoes of all colors.

Firefighters’ Pancake Breakfast
7th Street Public Market | 8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.

The 7th Street Public Market and the Charlotte Fire Department join forces for the 13th annual Firefighters’ Pancake Breakfast to benefit the NC Firefighters’ Burned Children Fund. Charlotte firefighters will be on-site cooking pancakes (plain or blueberry) for a $3 suggested donation for a kids’ plate and a $5 suggested donation for adults. All proceeds from the breakfast go directly to the Firefighters’ Burned Children’s Fund- Charlotte Mecklenburg Chapter.

Let’s Get Tropical Tiki Party
The Unknown Brewing Company | 3 – 7 p.m.

Can’t escape for a tropical vacation? Get your tiki on with live music, fire dancers, ukulele playing, hula hooping and limbo contests, complimentary Hawaiian hog sandwiches and kiddie pools to cool off in. Unknown will also release the Let’s Get Tropical IPA.

Project 2 Heal Fundraiser
Pilot Brewing | 2 – 5 p.m.

Meet Project 2 Heal puppies, participate in a silent auction, enjoy food trucks and live music all for a good cause. $1 of the Chasing Calder Pale Ale will benefit the charity, whose goal is to utilize the healing power of dogs to help families and children with special needs.

Florida Georgia Line: Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour
PNC Music Pavilion | 7 p.m.

Head up to PNC to see Florida Georgia Line take the stage after openers Dan + Shay.


Bark in the Ballpark Presented by Williams Subaru

Just one of four Bark in the Ballpark games of the 2019 season, this weekend’s event happens during the face-off between the Charlotte nights and the Pawtucket Red Sox. Gates open at 4 p.m.
