Summer Concert Series
Comporium Amphitheater at the Anne Springs Close Greenway | 6:30 p.m.

The seventh annual Summer Concert Series continues with live music from Gal Friday, food truck vendors and beer, wine and other refreshments for sale.

Beerly Funny Comedy Show – Free Monthly Showcase
Bold Missy Brewery | 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.

This free stand-up comedy show hosted by Lauren Ansley features comedians Jas Gill and Ari Funny with local favorites Julie J., Shaine Laine and Addy Kapur. Free admission.

Friends Night with T-Shirt Giveaway
BB&T Stadium | 7 p.m.

Bring your crew to BB&T Ballpark to watch the Knights take on the Gwinnett Stripers and celebrate the classic TV show, Friends. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Friends-themed t-shirt, plus everyone can enjoy $3 domestic drafts and $5 craft drafts.

Yoga with Johnna Smith
Sozo Gallery | 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Join Sozo Gallery and Johnna Smith for a yoga class that focuses on the power of pausing. Bring your own yoga mat and water. $25 per participant.

Vida Cantina Presents: Tequila Tasting

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons

Hear Frankie Valli, best known as the lead singer of the Four Seasons, sing classic songs including “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Rag Doll,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” Tickets start at $55.

Out of Body – Art Exhibition by Arthur Brouthers
2519 Distribution St. | 7 – 10 p.m.

C3Lab will host the opening night reception of Arthur Brouthers’ latest series of mixed media artworks, which will also include an interactive digital installation where participants can simulate their own “out of body experience” with a short guided meditation, visuals and electronic music. The evening will also feature music by The Wormholes, a Charlotte-based psychedelia synth-pop duo.

Train/Goo Goo Dolls

Roaring Riot Tailgate Tapas Tasting at Chef Alyssa’s
Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen | 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

It’s never too early to start planning for football season. Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen and the Roaring Riot will team up for Friday’s Tailgate Tapas Tasting, a self-guided cooking class where participants will master tailgating skills at rotating stations. $65 for non-Roaring Riot members.
