Taste of Charlotte 2019
June 7-9 | Uptown Charlotte
The 21st Annual Taste of Charlotte is a three-day celebration featuring the best of the city’s restaurants and culinary destinations. Enjoy six blocks of special restaurant tastings, sample, cooking demos, vendor shops, entertainment and more.
Anne Springs Close Greenway Summer Concert Series
Comporium Amphitheater at the Anne Springs Close Greenway | 6:30 p.m.
The seventh annual Summer Concert Series kicks off with party band Next Level Band of Charlotte. Attendees can also expect food truck vendors and beer, wine and other refreshments for sale.
McColl Center for Art + Innovation | 6 – 9 p.m.
Help welcome the McColl Center’s summer artists-in-residence and celebrate the opening reception for our summer exhibition, New Works / Alumni Three. Expect art on display, a beer and wine bar, music by DJ Bo White, participatory art installations and free admission.
Jazz at the Bechtler: Latin Jazz

Infusing Flavor in Seafood Cooking Class

Chef Diminich and the culinary staff at Upstream will teach class participants how to infuse flavor into seafood using a variety of spices, marinades and chiles to produce delicious dishes that are sure to impress. Bourbon Tasting & Dinner

2019 Race to the Taste 5k

To offset all of the tasting and sampling, lace up for the Race to the Taste 5k, which starts and ends at Uptown’s Taste of Charlotte Festival. Complete the full 5K or opt for the 1-mile Cupcake Run/Walk. There will also be a Kids Dash for those under 12.
