The Queen City is exploding with murals and art installations these days, making Summer 2019 a selfie, doodle-gramming, confetti heart heaven.

Here are our favorite Charlotte Instagram Spots to see yourself in this summer. How many have you already hit? Tag us in your photos so we can share in our posts and stories. @scoopcharlotte #scoopCLT #scoopcharlotte

The Confetti Hearts Wall

Do you even live here if you haven’t seen the confetti hearts wall by Jeni’s South End, created by local artist entrepreneur Evelyn Henson? Some people just have a genius about what sells, and right now that people is Evelyn Henson. She recently partnered with Jeni’s again for their new location in NoDa with the stripes that are taking over the QC IG.

The History of Noda Mosaic by Ruth Ava Lyons at Novel NoDa

This artist does some amazing mosaic creations along with her beautiful art, and her installations beautify several local spots, including some you’ll find at your feet.

Another AH-MAZing female artist brightening up so many corners of the QC. This newest one at Discovery Place.

SC Sunflower Field at Draper Wildlife Management Area

We were introduced to the SC Sunflower fields by one of our contributors, @southerndeparture, in her article here on scoop. A pilgrimage down is a must this summer.

Sometimes you find the fun stuff in the most unexpected places….but businesses are savvy and know that creating instagrammable walls and spaces provides great buzz and lots of free marketing.

La Belle Helene & their Insta Bathroom Backdrop

La Belle Helene, arguably the cities most beautiful restaurant space, is a photo dream. There is even an instagram mirror wall in the bathroom space so that you can selfie in the mirror and the restaurant name, written backwards, shows up perfectly.

The Wings at Max & Local Bodega at 1501 Mint St.

So many murals to choose from these days, but we love this one for the pets and babies most of all.

Bechtler Firebird

An oldie but goodie. Try some closer up shots to get your broken reflection in the mirror tiles.

The Skyline Shots

Many many options and many involve a cocktail as an added bonus 🙂

The perfect backdrop to chronicle your Summer ’19 life. Follow @cltmuralmonday , @southendclt and @nodaclt for great photos and new inspirations.

We’ve barely skimmed the surface on great shots for your instagram this summer, and didn’t even have time or space for all the parks & greenspace. I guess there’s another article in our future. Meanwhile, don’t forget to share your shots with @scoopcharlotte!
