Be on the lookout for a grand opening date from Shake Shack’s anticipated location in Blakeney. In addition to their classic burgers and chicken sandwiches, the Blakeney Shack will serve the local Pie Oh My Concrete  (vanilla custard with slice of Suárez Bakery seasonal pie) and donate 5% of sales to Loaves and Fishes.

 

Alan Black & the Tryon Street Quintet

Alan Black and the Tryon Street Quintet will perform works from Dvorak, Rossini and Onslow in Rock Hill’s renovated 1932 courtroom. $15 – $25.

Cookies with Santa & Holiday Artisan Fair

Santa’s making an early holiday stop to visit with kids at Baxter Village. Get a picture with Santa before shopping the artisan and vendor fair while the kids explore the kids area.

Holiday Magic at Rea Farms

Kick off holiday season with Rea farm’s tree lighting, complete with carriage rides, face painting, a cookie decorating contest and appearances by Sir Purr, Frozen characters and Santa and Mrs. Claus. Donations of nonperishable food items (including pet food) will be accepted for Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

 

2018 Tree Lighting & Santa Arrival

Blakeney’s getting ready to deck the halls and will celebrate with a tree lighting ceremony and visit from Santa himself on November 17. Pose for photos, complete holiday crafts, enjoy live music and more. Santa’s Workshop, sponsored by Passionate Paws Animal Hospital, will be open through December 23.

Like a Fine Wine: Dual Bottle Release

Celebrate Amor Artis Brewing’s first bottle release on November 24, when they’ll introduce the first two variants in the “Like a Fine Wine” series: The White Wine Tripel and the Red Wine Tripel. Both brews will also be on tap.
