This year’s Symposium keynote speaker was the charming designer Mark D. Sikes, who walked us through the inspiration for and thinking behind many of the beautiful and timeless rooms featured in his new book, Beautiful, All American Decorating and Timeless StyleMark Sikes has a penchant for blue & white stripes, for greenery, wicker furniture, and for a luxe indoor/outdoor lifestyle. He entertained a packed house on that Charlotte rarity this spring ~ a perfectly beautiful and sunny day.
