Hitting the gym or heading to a studio for a class are ideal ways to workout for some. But if you need more one-on-one help, if you are an athlete (or non-athlete) recouping from an injury, or if you need a general workout plan catered to your post-operative or aging body, the new OrthoCarolina Wellness Center is the new “gym” created to welcome and accommodate clients like you.
What is it? Think sports club + personal training facility + youth sports performance + weight management + nutrition & health coaching + more, all combined and catered to your liking, with all ages welcome. It’s kind of like a rehab center that caters to youth and professional athletes as well as the older, post-menopausal woman fighting weight gain and muscle loss AND the career-focused millennial who wants to squeeze in a workout but on her schedule.
Family workouts, yes. Batting cages, yes. Dietitian, check. Sports psychologist? You bet!
“The quest for the greatest quality of life means finding balance and maximizing health, which is an important part of what OrthoCarolina does every day,” said Jason Boudrie, Director of Wellness for OrthoCarolina, who has more than 20 years experience in the health and wellness field. “The OrthoCarolina Wellness Center is dedicated to helping those in our community build the fundamentals of health, be excellent athletes and achieve the goals they set for themselves.”
Meet the OrthoCarolina Wellness Center – a new concept for training and physical health now open in Matthews.
