Cooking Class for November – Thanksgiving

Don’t go into the holiday season blind. Learn to whip up Thanksgiving classics with the help of culinary instructor Jessica Lutz. The class includes instruction for making cranberry sauces roasted Brussel sprout salad, sausage stuffing, squash casserole and smoked turkey. $30 per person.

Folk Life Festival at Historic Latta Plantation
Historic Latta Plantation, Huntersville | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Celebrate folk life and culture with vendors selling handcrafted goods, music, historians and demonstrations. The house will be open and self-guided tours of the grounds will be available. Admission is $4 for adults and free for children under five and veterans.
TKB Langtree’s 2nd Annual Chilli Cookoff
