North Carolina Wildlife Federation is calling all paddlers to help raise money for wildlife conservation. Paddle along the shores of Latta Plantation before lunch and raffle prizes are given back on land. Prizes include a kayak from Great Outdoor Provision, Co., ENO hammock, REI goodie pack, USNWC passes and more.



Walk to Cure Arthritis Charlotte

Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Arthritis Foundation’s nationwide signature event that unites communities across the country charting the course to a cure. Participants may choose from a three-mile and one-one course, then enjoy family activities. Feel free to bring Fido along.

Afterwards, Bayne Brewing will provide a free pint on the dock and specials for participants back in their taproom.

Enjoy some fresh tunes with your brews this Sunday at Primal Brewery. Lake Street Dive will take the stage at 2 p.m., but it’s far from their first appearance. The band has previously played at the White House, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Today Show.

Help pound out pediatric cancer and register for a great day of golf on one of the area’s best courses.
