Is there anything more pleasant than scrolling through the pretty pics on Instagram when you are waiting in the line at checkout or carpool, or semi-watching the game? What did we do with our wait times before Instagram on our phones?

I particularly love the room scenes and posts by interior designers. Food & cocktail photos are nice, yes, but dreaming about beautiful food is just not high on my list. But fashion, style and design? Love.

Here are the folks we love to follow and like in the Charlotte design community. My latest daydream is to donate my house to have a different designer do each room. The Scoop Showhouse. Wouldn’t that be awesome? I mean for me at least.

Our client's library/office with rolling ladder so he can access all of his collections of books. We repurposed this room- it used to be a closet and I insisted on saving the Antique Heart Pine ceiling. Now it's his cozy den with Moroccan rug, down sofa, custom desk, Edelman pebbled leather chair. What I wouldn't give to have a rolling ladder and library wall! We're doing a ton of libraries right now-I'm hoping that means people are holding onto precious books instead of going totally digital.
