Hope everyone has enjoyed a wonderful break. Not sure about you, but I’m just about ready for school to be back in session…like the Christmas carol “mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again.” Yep, that’s me. Mainly I’m looking forward to knowing what day it is again. The week between Christmas and New Years is so tricky!!!

Big Rock Nature Preserve

Looking to get outside on the last few days of break, but don’t want to leave the city…my family discovered this nature preserve last week and it was fantastic. The perfect place for a morning nature adventure or a picnic lunch with family and friends. Dogs welcome, on leash as well. Only 22 acres, so you can see it all quickly or make it a day of exploring.
