Lela Rose Comes To Town
Fashion designer Lela Rose was the featured speaker at last week’s Fall EnrichMINT event, and we were all just wowed. Like a much younger, hipper version of Carolina Herrara-meets-Martha Stewart, Lela is a fashion designer whose beautiful taste permeates her life and lifestyle. You know you are in like minded company when you hear the phrase “nothing is more chic than matching your drink to your dress“. Words to live by. Every woman there wanted to be Lela’s friend, I can promise you that.

Artist Windy O’Connor At High Point Market
One of our favorite local artists, Windy O’Connor, took a group of friends/helpers to High Point Market recently to showcase her beautiful work, in room scenes and vignettes by Highland House Furniture created by designers like Charlotte’s Barrie Benson. While the show was really more work than party, life with Windy is always festive, so we thought these pics deserved inclusion (remind me to tell you one day about when Windy & I first met in the front row of Cardio Funk class at the Harris Y).
