The Ballantyne Beat ~ Trying the New Fall Menu at the Gallery Restaurant at The Ballantyne Hotel

If you’ve never checked out the Gallery Restaurant inside The Ballantyne Hotel, now is the perfect time to go. From the gorgeous plush tufted booths in the restaurant to the real bourbon barrels in the bar area, the ambiance is perfect for date night, girls’ night or just an evening to #treatyoself. And we know you’re going to be obsessed with the restaurant’s fall menu, which is full of unique twists on classic favorites.

It’s available to the public starting Oct. 5, but we got a sneak preview of 14 (!) of Chef de Cuisine Matt Tillman’s mouthwatering dishes last week.

Chef Matt loves playing with unexpected flavors and textures, like sorghum kettle corn on a poached Asian pear salad, and coffee rub on a 22-oz. “cowboy” ribeye.

Save room for sweets! The desserts are almost too pretty to eat — almost.

And of course, you can’t forget cocktails. The Gallery Restaurant’s bartenders craft drink creations that are delicious, unique and so pretty you’ll want to Snapchat before you sip. We tried the cucumber gimlet (yum!) and the Ballantyne Martini. Bring your dark liquor lovers to the restaurant to impress them with one of the largest whiskey collections in the southeast. Another bonus: if you’re pregnant (or a teetotaler), all the cocktails can be made alcohol-free while still maintaining their unique flavor profile.

Make your way to the 28277 to try out the new fall menu as soon as possible. You just might “fall” in love (Sorry not sorry for that fall pun).
