Here are my top foods made better with Viva Chicken Sauces to Go.

Y’all know I love prepared and take out food that is as good or better than homemade. My specialty is knowing where to pick up dishes for supper club and potlucks, so I don’t have to cook, and my friends don’t have to suffer my cooking.

I am now committed to never being without three full bottles of to-go Viva Chicken sauces in the fridge. And I vow to never host a party again without an unending supply of their herbal limeade and maracuya on the bar. Life is just too short and friends & family too important.

The Red(Orange): Roasted Rocoto Pepper Sauce. Hot. My husband’s favorite.

The Yellow: Mild yellow peruvian pepper. My son’s favorite.

The GreenBlack Peruvian mint, fresh cilantro and jalapenos. Spicy. My favorite. Yes, we are indeed the 3 Bears.

Here are my top foods to add these sauces to, along with some suggestions from scoop’s instagram followers:

  • Green tossed with fresh, steamed veggies like green beans or broccoli
  • Orange to Huevos Rancheros
  • Mix the orange & the yellow on salmon with toasted panko and cilantro (@tarheelnic)
  • Green for Dip with Trader Joe’s plantain chips (@christinemmcintyre)
  • Yellow for Sweet Potato Fries
  • Green (or any one) to mahi fish tacos
  • Green on steak for a twist on chimichurri
  • Yellow on grilled shrimp
  • Orange or Yellow on grilled corn on the cob with a little cojita too.
  • Orange with pasta and chicken/shrimp
  • Rice or grains tossed with any one. Or three separate dishes, one for each sauce toss.
  • Green with any orzo salad recipe
  • Green with store bought black bean burgers
  • Yellow with Trader Joes veggie or mahi burgers

I mean I could go on, but I think you get the idea. And of course, all 3 with roasted chicken, preferably theirs. Did you know you can make two meals for 3-4 out of one order of VC Whole Chicken with 3 sides of their amazing Chicken Soup for $22?
