Nothing screams summer’s almost here more than a sunny day spent picking fresh fruit at a farm close to home. Luckily for us, there are plenty of options in and near the Queen City. Use our guide to ” pick your own ” produce farms in Charlotte to start planning your outings now. It’s not too soon ~ strawberry picking season starts as early as mid-April and runs through May.
Hall Family Farm

Know before you go: Call them before you go to check picking conditions. Don’t leave without some of their homemade strawberry bread and blackberry ice cream. If you come in the month of June, you can also pick up some fresh picked NC peaches.
