This has got to be some of the toughest dress shopping you will ever do. The mother of all dress dilemmas, at least so I’ve observed. Pun intended of course.
Unlike the Bride, or even the Maids, the MOB and the MOG are supposed to be tastefully in the background. No swoon-worthy, statement making, show-stopping for this day, moms. Mothers of the Bride should dress to complement the wedding colors, and Mothers of the Groom are supposed to complement the MOB. It’s customary for the MOB to choose first and the MOG to follow suit. And everyone takes their cues on color, length, formality and style from the bride. Remember, you will be in lots of photos together, and the only person who should stand out is the bride.
