One of my favorite ways to temporarily escape my grown-up responsibilities around the holidays (such as wrapping a million presents and hosting my husband’s holiday office party) is to make festive desserts and other treats in the kitchen with my children.
It is such a fun way to spend quality time together. Sure, it usually means a lot of cleaning up when we’re done, but it also creates some pretty fantastic memories.
