I am just sick if you missed this show. IMO, this was Neiman Marcus South Park’s best Runway Trends presentation since Ken Downing jetted in several years ago with his fab taste and his absurdly long-legged, skinny-panted self.

This annual event / fundraiser supports The Mint Museum, so it is always a wonderful evening of the style and the stylish, the artful and the arts. For some of us, the return of AW2015 70’s Style fashions aren’t quite as much fun as being there when first it all happened. But, the show was inspiring, and I am pulling out my patchouli oil and patchworking my jeans even as we speak.
The Ten Autumn / Winter 2015 Trends per NM are:
- Folklorica – a global array of embroidery, patchwork, lace, fringe
- The Last Layer – dusters, ponchos, capes
- Full Bodied Reds – crimson, carmine, claret
- White Out – winter whites
- Modern Fur – real or faux
- The Return of the Flare – jeans, pants
- The Saddlebag – single-shoulder or cross-body, 70s style
- Chunky Heels – for day and night
- Ear Candy – huggies, jackets, crawlers, cuffs
- Well-dressed Leg – stockings, tights: sheer, fishnet, lace
