TREND ALERT: Florals are in. Bring out the bouquets.
The floral trend started in fashion and is now expanding (or should I say growing) to home decor in the form of fabrics, art, wall coverings, accessories and rugs. Bold prints and subdued pastels are flowering throughout the boutiques. Pillows and plates are great ways to add this trend to an existing neutral room without busting the budget. If you really dig the florals, try a new sofa or chair in a charming custom fabric.
The trend has emerged with a “no rules” attitude, mixing modern botanicals and large flowing patterns. So, be brave and go bold or quietly introduce a calming floret. Life is better with flowers.
