Jewelry fave Kendra Scott company opened a stand alone store in SouthPark mall this week. Many scoop readers have shopped Kendra Scott at the Charlotte boutiques over the years, so there is an existing fan base in place. [It remains to be seen whether a boutique shopper will shift over to a mall shopper, but it does seem that SouthPark continues to place that bet].
The 1,700 square foot store located next to White House | Black Market includes the Kendra Scott Color Bar, where you can use a touch screen display and iPads to create your own customized jewelry in minutes. We predict this will be hours of fun for those of “us” who like to spend our Saturdays meeting at the mall, hitting Sbux, the food court and LUSH, and now designing jewelry at Kendra Scott.
