Most of us know how to pack for a camping trip. And if we don’t, there’s always Dick’s.
But Glamping is taking it to an entirely different level. (Here’s our feature from last week on Where To Go Glamping Near Charlotte). Think of it more like luxe picnicking or elegant tailgating and you get the idea. It’s as much about setting the mood and maximizing the setting as it is about getting in touch with nature. Props play a critical role, and staging is way more important in Glamping. If you think you are going overboard on the decorating for a weekend in the woods, then you’re on the right track. It’s called GLAMOROUS camping for a reason, Martha.
We’ve made a list of some of the items you might want to pack for a glamping trip and gathered some pics from around town for your inspiration. Feel free to comment and suggest your own ideas. And p.s., this is drive up and park camping ladies, no backpackin-in allowed. Cabins or blow up mattresses preferred. Make sure your man gets the picture – no headlamps required but dinner jackets welcome.
