The Charlotte Kids Fest Is Back! on October 5

The third annual Charlotte Kids Fest presents fascinating, creative and educational hands-on activities for children to explore the world around them. Attendees will experience captivating activities and presentations throughout zones run by UNC Charlotte academic departments and program providers including:

  • Reading, math, history, science and technology in the LEARN! zone
  • Performing and cultural arts in the DISCOVER! zone
  • Arts and crafts in the CREATE! zone
  • Exploration of all things on wheels in the GO! zone
  • Outdoor activities, exercise and healthy development in the PLAY! zone

Entertainment will include robotics, magic, yoga, martial arts, music, dance, emergency and construction vehicle tours, storybook readings, food trucks and live cultural and musical performances. The event is free and free parking is available in the CRI parking deck. You can also take the LYNX light rail from South Charlotte, Uptown or NoDa to JW Clay Blvd Station, immediately across the street from the festival.
