Details:

Healthy Charlotte Alliance’s 2019 Community Health Classroom will be held on October 10th (World Mental Health Day) when we’ll convene medical experts and community influencers on the important topic of “Mental Health, Help and Hope. Vital Insights: Understanding Depression and Suicide.”

As you may know, suicide has become an epidemic and is the 2nd leading cause of death for young people in NC.

We are proud to boast a powerhouse panel, including experts from Novant Health, Atrium Health, HopeWay and Southeast Psych to tackle this critical conversation.

Attendees will hear from the experts, gain awareness of the resources available to access help and learn how to recognize the warning signs and start a conversation that could save a life. Suicide is preventable and we will intentionally combat stigma around mental illness.
