Mark your calendars! We are hosting a Burgundy Workshop on Saturday, April 27, from 2 to 4 pm at South Park Wine Room.
Want more knowledge in buying Burgundy wines? Acquire the confidence by attending this class.
This North-Eastern section of France representing a 140 mile stretch from Chablis to the Mâconnais, is responsible for 6% of the French wine production. It also represents 45 million years of geological history present in its soils. Over 200 million years ago the region was part of a vast, tropical sea which created limestone soils. These soils are the secret behind the zesty minerality that is the hallmark profile of Burgundy wines. Every parcel of land is unique, and every parcel of land bears a name, either ranked or unranked.
Our host, Craig Baker, Senior Vice President of Sales for Misa Imports is well known in the burgundy and Rhone Regions of France. He has traveled extensively in these regions to find growers and family run wineries that represent the specific terroir of their regions.
Join Craig on a tour of fantastic Burgundy wines paired with delicious cheeses.
